Simon Palencia

Simon has been involved in boxing for about 8 years starting in Hickory. Started for health and fitness then moved to the competition side. Did a few smoker fights (non sanctioned matches) and then moved to Gaston County and came to BodyShot. After staying later to help young prospects develop their skills and add more conditioning to their game, Simon was asked to help more and be an assistant coach. He now helps Coach Klouse with boxing sessions and coaching at competition matches. Simon is dedicated to the sport of boxing and is always looking to develop and enhance everybody's boxing craft.

The owner Zach was very helpful and patient giving me details over the phone for the kid boxing class. Instructor Ben was super friendly and fun. My friend's daughter is kinda of shy and she feels comfortable here. I think this is a great gym and an excellent program for kids and adults. This place is the real deal!
